libstat-lsmode-perl software package provides Perl module to format file modes like ls -l, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstat-lsmode-perl
libstat-lsmode-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstat-lsmode-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstat-lsmode-perl *
You will get with libstat-lsmode-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
